ORC || Week 2 Treasure Hunt

12:00 AM

It's Week 2 of the One Room Challenge and the nursery is under way! A HUGE thank you to Calling it Home for creating the One Room Challenge.  I can't wait to see everyone's posts this week.

So, this past week, I've been frantically curating treasures in order for the room to come together. AHHH! It's been a week of shopping and planning!

I found the above Paint by Numbers Ship at a Flea Market this past Sunday. I was thrilled because it's bright, cheery and reads nursery! Nursery art- check, check!

I was also inspired to paint the ceiling thanks to this inspirational photo from Jana Donohoe's FALL 2017 ORC transformation. Isn't it stunning??

Down the Rabbit hole I went and I found this lovely nursery by Carla Lane Interiors on Pinterest

I've officially decided to paint the ceiling in  Farrow & Ball Paint via Thomas Mach Interiors. I think this will cast a pretty hue on the walls which are being painted in Capitol White by Benjamin Moore
Since the room gets tons of light the above paint color reads much lighter in the room. I've chosen 2 colors from Farrow & Ball below.

Ceiling Paint Option #1: Lulworth Blue by Farrow & Ball

Ceiling Paint Option #2: Dix Blue by Farrow & Ball

Now to decide and order! Which do you like best?? Option #1 or Option #2??

A Look at the updated design board!
