Thanksgiving Fall Home Tour - Eclectic Style!

1:33 PM

I may be listening to Christmas music and watching Rudolph but my home is decorated for Fall. Why? Because I live in a world where Thanksgiving exists;) ha ha ha!! Plus, my in-laws are coming for Thanksgiving so I'm hosting the big feast!!
I kept the decor simple this year. The living room has some festive pumpkins and this new center piece of bits I foraged from my neighbors side yard- thanks Paul;)
If you saw my stories  last week I posted some pics of a floral arrangement or dried flowers and plants. It went with the halloween decor but wasn't nearly vibrant enough for this room. I'm loving these red leaves and hoping they dry nicely. It's a mix of fire bush leaves, bittersweet berries and dried millet sprigs. If have you have some pruning shears I highly recommend you go hunting!
Heading into the kitchen- I focused the decor here with our upcoming Thanksgiving feast.
You know I LOVE color and I'm thrilled with how this tablescape turned out. I was concerned it would look random but the colors and patterns tied together nicely.

My favorite new addition is these Pottery Barn Buffalo Check Placemats. They have a cork back are sturdy and kid friendly! They bring in just the right amount of black. I plan to use them all year long as they are the perfect neutral.
The casual cloth napkins are another Pottery Barn score at $3 a piece on sale! RUN TO GET THEM! They wash so well and are a nice size- not too large and not too small. I've found that vintage cloth napkins tend to be a hair small for my liking. The Bumble bee napkin rings are from The Plaid Giraffe

Heading into the Family room is our last stop on the tour. I'm proudly displaying my prize pheasant (thanks to Mr. Dieker!).
Using my foraged finds; I placed bittersweet vines on the mantel. The pilgrim couple, candle sticks and brown vase are vintage finds. The wheat is from our beloved Kansas!
This year I upped my Fall game by brining in fall themed pillows and blankets. It adds that extra coziness that this room needs. We live in this room. It's our main spot to lounge, read and watch TV.
I also realized we would need flameless candles thanks to bro being super fast and grabby these days. He's active and into everything....hence the pretty (as in pretty ugly) rubber edging on our glass coffee table- safety first people!;)
Thanks for stopping by - I hope you enjoyed the tour! Keep clicking to view all the fabulous tours this week- so so much inspo! Let me know what your faves are!!
